This document reviews the service provided by DFMs, as rated by financial advisers. While four out of the top seven aspects of service are either meeting or exceeding adviser expectations, satisfaction levels have fallen overall across the 14 aspects of service.

Results of the survey indicate that selecting MPS through a platform is growing in popularity, whereas MPS through direct custody is waning.

In our survey, we asked advisers to rate DFM providers in relation to the importance of 14 categories:

  • Investment flexibility – range of assets

This independent publication helps advisers benchmark how the service they receive compares to their peers, enabling them to select partners based on service.
