Results of our latest service review for investment bond providers are now available. The survey asked financial advisers to rank the most important aspects of service and then rate their own experience of onshore and international bond providers.

Results of the survey indicate that while open architecture is the more favoured option, the preferred providers tend to offer both restricted and open architecture solutions.

In our survey, we asked advisers to rate providers in relation to the importance of seven categories:

• Provider strength and brand
• New business administration
• Existing business administration
• Administration staff
• Product design and management
• Reporting
• Online services

There were three specific areas identified where providers could improve their offerings.
